Coach Jos
Coach Josahan "Jos" Jaime-Sambrano is an NTS Level 4 Coach and Head Coach for the Mount Marty Archery Team as well as the USD Archery Club. Jos has been involved in archery for over 20 years as a competitive compound archer for the state of Baja California and earning spots on the Mexican national team. She was then recruited as a member of the women's varsity archery team at Texas A&M where she was a three time All-American athlete. After receiving her bachelors degree in Sociology she managed Robin Hood Archery in Indio, CA for 8 years and coached the local JOAD program. Additionally, she became the assistant programs director for archery to the Athletic Institute of Baja California, Mexico supervising international archery camps and then the archery coaching development coordinator for the organization.
She later became a member of USA Archer's Junior Dream Team coaching staff before joining the team at NEYAC. Coach Jos is a certified Coach Trainer for the instructor and coach certification courses. She has been certifying Level 1-3 coach candidates for 8 years. In 2016 Coach Jos co-authored an Adaptive Archery Manual in partnership with Disabled Sports USA to provide tools for coaches interested in working with athletes with disabilities. Coach Forrest
Long time Alaskan, Forrest Bolles recently moved to Yankton, South Dakota by way of Kansas to take over the position of NEYAC community coach.
“I am first and foremost a bowhunter; I have hunted and harvested a multitude of big game in Alaska. I landed in Kansas where I attempted to cross a few things off my bucket list, mainly White tail deer, Turkey, bass, and crappie. I hope to cross a few more off here in SD, mule deer, antelope, pheasant, etc. All things not found in my home state.”
Over the past 20 years Forrest has been active in local archery clubs in Fairbanks, AK and Lawrence, KS. With transitioning to Yankton and working at the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center, Forrest will continue working with the archery community as well as participate in local league shoots. 3D archery has become a passion for Forrest with numerous entries into Redding and the NFAA marked 3D nationals competitions.
